Shark Dive

Yes, we really did dive with the sharks. As they say, that which does not kill you will make you stronger. Sharks, though, really will kill you.  💀

We had an excellent hour-long education session about sharks and shark behavior before heading out. It helped ease everyone's anxiety! The main attraction for the sharks is this "chumsicle".

 The divemaster gave us a final briefing before we headed into the water.

 Sharks are curious about the new visitors to their domain. We counted a total of 18 sharks before the dive was over!
