chain while raising the anchor

Tre reading to Mamaw while underway
Con trails above us - a good sign!
We passed the Kalmar Nykel again
They were raising their sails this time

An old fort along the Hudson

The George Washington bridge

New York City here we come!
It was a muggy, smoggy day as we passed.
With no wind, the seas were calm. PTL!
The US Coast Guard was present
everywhere in New York Harbor

Notice the skyline ahead of us

An aircraft carrier museum complete
with the Concord, vintage aircraft &
a submarine
Tre, Laurynn & Ashlynn with the new World Trade Center
behind them

It was truly inspirational to be able view the Statue of Liberty
from our own boat.

Our slip at the Atlantis Marina on Staten Island, NY
We had some prop damage so we came here to haul the boat
for repairs while visiting New York City

We found a great little Italian restaurant across the street
from our marina

Jim 2's plate looked big enough for 4 people!

Thursday morning's sunrise was the precursor of a day of
occasional torrential raining & flooding!
