8/03/15 New York City 2

Monday, 8/03/15
After Jim2's family left Samba on Saturday we spent the rest of the day and Sunday on boat projects and cleaning. Monday, we headed back into the Big Apple for more sightseeing.
Guardian of Central Park

Lots of horse-drawn carriages all around Central Park

1 of several lakes in the park

Such a lovely park with lots of trails, bridges
and even bridle trails for horses

The memorial to John Lennon in Central Park

Entrance to the Museum of Natural History

Quite a skeleton in the foyer of the museum
The Museum of Natural History was crazy busy so we moved on. Rockefeller Center was closed and the Air & Space Museum on the aircraft carrier was sold out so we had a great time just walking down 5th avenue & taking in the sights.

Looking down 5th avenue

Trump Tower was right next to Tiffany & Co
St Thomas Anglican Church  was stunning

St Patrick's Cathedral, though undergoing
renovations was amazing
