White Cay Anchorage

Our anchorage behind White Cay was a perfect anchorage, surrounded by small, uninhabited islands and protected from the ocean swells.

And yes, Jim checked the anchor and determined it was well buried. “O” means OK, it looks good!

Here’s a short video to give you an idea of the lovely islands surrounding us in this anchorage.

After lunch, we dropped the dinghy & went exploring.

We found our way to a delightful, deserted beach on Devils Cay.

We found a wonderful warm tidal pool that was fun to just soak in.

Sharing our space was this pretty little pink feather duster.

Once back at the boat, this sea turtle was hanging out, waiting to say "Hi".

By the time the sun went down, there were several other sailboats who found a spot in this idyllic anchorage.

The forecast for tomorrow is like today – calm and flat! That’s especially good news as we have a 50 mile ocean crossing to get to our next destination – Egg Island.

See you soon.
