En route to Pau Pau Bay from Alabaster Bay, we saw this interesting apparition. It sort of looks like some giant hydra that has invaded Eleuthera.
Once the anchor was down, Jim swam on it to make sure it was safe for the night. In the process, he found some more treasures for Laurynn.
Pau Pau Bay is a beautiful little anchorage surrounded by a several small islands and a great shelling beach that we took advantage of.
Granddaughter Laurynn had gotten pretty toasted in the sun over the past few days so we spent the afternoon chilling - - out of the sun.
Come sundown, a sun-eating cloud monster arose from the depths to gobble up the sun.
Friday, on the way to our marina, we fished for a while and caught a nasty old barracuda.
We decided to head on out into the ocean to see if we could catch some fish for our family for next week. Though we trolled for over 40 miles, we only caught 1/2 of a wahoo. Boo hoo!Though only 1/2 there, we still had a number of nice wahoo steaks from him.
This will likely be the last blog entry for a few days. Our kids and grandkids are meeting us tomorrow and will spend a week here with us. We plan to get some heavy duty beach time in as well as some scuba diving. We'll be back in touch as the week progresses.
